are you trying to map launchpad buttons to mute/unmute each track? I'm assuming you have your loops in arrangement/session view, rather than as part of an instrument chain. You probably want to set up a midimap on each track mute button

thanks! from a quick search nrpns seem to just be a group of cc data, so you should be able to write your own firmware for the Launchpad Pro specifically that does exactly what you'd want

@mat1jaczyyy you can write custom firmware for LP Pro that easily? Yeah, NRPN is effectively 3 (or 4) related midi CCs sent in sequence. With regular MIDI CCs, you only have less than 100 available, but by using the 2 NRPN address bits, you can point to 16,383 different parameter addresses. A midi CC value can only be 0-127. If you only use midi CC#6 (NRPN MSB for coarse value) to send the NRPN value, it's also 0-127, but if you use the combined 14 bits of CC#6 and CC#38 (NRPN LSB for fine value) then you can change the value from 0-16,383 for fine resolution using the math of 128 possible values from CC#38 within each value change of 1 in CC#6. Unfortunately, not all synths support that, and very few Midi controllers handle it properly. Most that support NRPN just let you program a control for 1 or the other, and don't support managing the math of them together. [There's also 10 of 12 bit NRPN values that could be used for more reasonable resolutions, like 0 - 1000.] Actually, I just realized using inrement and decrement the NRPN value would work better with a LP Pro. Then you're just sending 2 bits for an address and 1 bit for a value. (-1 with CC96 or +1 with CC 97). So how do I learn more about LP Pro firmware customization?

Thanks for commenting, here's a couple of reasons: 1. If you ever opened the de-bleed module, it asks you for a source file to generate a bleed profile from. This needs to be time aligned to the original audio that requires de-bleeding. This is helpful for removing/attenuating bleed from live instruments into each other. For more details on the use case feel free to refer to the RX manual. 2. The technique(s) shown in the video are mostly applicable to electronic music, in which usually the drums are static, unchanging samples that can be easily aligned and cancelled by phase inversion and time alignment. For a 2h concert session this is not most efficient workflow at all. 2.1 Depending what you want to clean up exactly I suggest you take a look into modern ML powered tools like Ultimate Vocal Remover (freely available through its GitHub repository) and trying different architectures and models to let the algorithm extract certain tracks for you. A powerful GPU is recommended for this.

@@rpgaleksy 1. Of course! I'm currently using the de-bleed RX module, comparing the various tracks saved by the sound engineer which, obviously, all have the same length. 2. Indeed 2.1 I was thinking of trying THR's deBleed. I will also try (probably) the one you suggested, even if I am afraid of installing open source software on the PC, because any developer can insert malicious code into it. I don't know if you've heard of it, but this seems to have happened with the Linux OS. Thank you for the constructive discussion
